As the Product Designer and Graphic Designer for GardenCare, my contributions were pivotal in shaping the app's user experience and visual appeal.
Designing User Interfaces Crafting intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the app’s various features such as plant identification, room gardens, and care reminders.
Creating Visual Elements Developing the visual theme of the app, which involved designing icons, illustrations, and layouts, aligning with a nature-inspired color palette.
Collaborating with Developers Working closely with the development team to ensure designs were both aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible.
User Experience Research Conducting user research to understand our audience's needs and preferences, which guided the design process.
One significant challenge was designing an interface that catered to both novice and experienced gardeners. To address this, I developed a flexible UI that offered simplified modes for beginners and advanced options for experienced users. This approach ensured that GardenCare was accessible and valuable to all users, regardless of their gardening expertise.
